The Beauty of Caring
Socio-aesthetics · Bristol

Beauty is foreveryone.

A manicure. A facial. A hand held for a while. We bring professional beauty care to people living through illness, isolation and exclusion.

What is socio-aesthetics?

Beauty treatments given in hospitals, care homes and shelters, to help people feel like themselves again when life has been at its hardest.

The treatments are familiar. The purpose is different: they promote healing through communication, wellness, comfort and confidence building, supporting both physical and emotional recovery.

In their words
“I hadn't let anyone touch my hands in years. From the moment she greeted me, I felt safe, seen, and respected.”
Meriam
“She talked to me like a person, not a patient or a problem. I left not only with softer hands, but with a lighter heart.”

“Something to look forward to, and brilliant motivation to get me up and out of the house.”
